This great tasting hybrid variety produces magnificent ruby red cabbages. The heads can weigh 3.5kg or more whilst retaining a crisp texture. Rookie F1 is slow to bolt so it performs well also in warmer climates. In smaller gardens crops can be harvested when young for delicious baby cabbages.
Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.
