A deliciously sweet and aromatic hybrid variety. Very fast growing and will perform well in a range of climates, including cooler regions. The mid-sized fruits are delicious in fruit salads and smoothies or eaten fresh from the patch. Ideal for small gardens as the vines can be trained onto a vertical trellis to save space.
Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.
How To Grow |
Sow 12mm (1/2in) deep in clumps of 2-3 seeds. Cover with a layer of soil or compost and firm gently. Keep soil moist. Seedlings appear in 6-10 days. Thin to the two strongest seedlings or 75cm (30in) apart. To encourage side shoots, pinch the growing tip out at the 5-6 leaf stage. If training vertically onto wires limit the growth to the size of the frame by pruning the tip and side shoots as necessary. |
