How To Grow |
Sow 5mm (¼in) deep. Cover with a fine layer of soil and firm gently. Keep soil moist. Seedlings appear in 10-14 days. When large enough to handle transplant seedlings 75cm (30in) apart both ways. Keep well-watered and free of weeds. Pinch out side shoots as they appear. Secure to stakes or supports as plants grow taller. Apply a pre-planting fertiliser to the soil and keep plants well-watered. When the first truss has set, feed regularly with an all-purpose liquid feed. |
